Kleinstone is a personal, long-horizon research initiative dedicated to the pursuit of zero-failure software.

Modern software is often bloated, fragile, and rushed. This project represents a deliberate, ten-year effort to master computing from first principles—starting with the fundamentals of C, memory, and the hardware boundary—with the eventual goal of building systems of uncompromising precision and permanence.

I. From the Metal Up

No black boxes or fragile abstractions. True software reliability begins with understanding memory, processors, and the machine itself.

II. Simplicity Over Churn

Modern frameworks come and go every two years. Software should be written to compile, execute, and remain useful for decades.

III. The Patient Horizon

Mastery cannot be hurried. This site serves as a quiet workbench for the long road ahead. Projects and technical notes will be published only when they meet a high standard of quality.
